Went to Denver yesterday to get the 30,000 mile check up on the Hyundai. Had lunch with Joanne and Julie. We haven't seen Julie since she moved to Sac <-cool, and haven't seen Joanne in a while. Had a nice time, caught up on all the family news from the Colorado branch. It was mighty warm down there yesterday. Glad we have air conditioning.

Construction has begun on the last stretch of highway 34 to be widened. Guess it's a 2 year project. If you come up this way be ready to sit for up to 30 minutes. The section of road between Winter park ski area and the town is also being finished. That's way behind, but should be done by the end of the month.
