We had a really good time yesterday, the 4th. There were more people in town than we have seen yet. They were every where. The fireworks show was great. The fireworks were launched from moving boats at different parts of the lake. It was quit the show. It's pretty good every year.
It's raining today! We thought about going to Estes park today, but decided not to due to the weather. It can get pretty nasty on Trialridge road, the highest continuously paved road in the country. It can be nice here and snowing up there. That with the high winds and lots of flatlanders who aren't used to driving mountain roads, it's better to just hang around the house.
