Again the question, why did congress give it's self a pay raise while making no COLA adjustment to social security recipients. And again the pay raise issue was ignored while the lady who asked the question was told how lucky she was congress froze COLA and gave them $200 which I'm sure is taxed. The CPI is down according to the government. I don't collect SS but I can say that sewer, water, cable, phone,-auto registration and about every thing else has increased.To be fair food has gone down some and gas has been stable although we pay close to $3 a gallon here. If you can call your own pay raises while making over 100k a year with a couple million dollar office operating budget how the hell can you possibly understand what working people are facing every day? I don't know about you, but I can't afford these people any more. They keep grabbing more of my money to maintain the status quo that was over funded in the first place. I'm under employed out of money and out of patience with my government! Do us a favor, if your going to vote the party line or reelect incumbents or vote for some one who has never held a paying job, just stay home. I'm not looking to take my country back from any body, I am going to make my country once again work for me.
