This evening over Shadow Mountain lake. 

We are headed to Trinidad and Pueblo for the weekend. We have some stuff in storage to pick up and bring back here.
We had about a week of sunny weather and back came the rain. There is snow on the surrounding mountains. It wont be long.

The reddish hue you see is beetle kill. Last season there were only a couple small patches. It runs like this for miles in all directions.

We keep getting rain...To much rain, but it looks like lake Granby is finally coming up.
